Building and Site Features
The Watermark was developed by Irongate (also Trump Tower Waikiki and Ritz-Carlton Residences) and was completed by Intracorp in 2008. The 38 story concrete tower consists of 212 luxury residences which face the ocean and harbor. The Watermark’s unique site has a large lush gardens at the end of a quiet street. It’s a little oasis at the west end of Waikiki yet it’s comfortable walking distance to the beach and Ala Moana Center.
Common Areas for Residents
The garden common areas of The Watermark have a Hawaiian resort feel. The ground floor lobby area is a tall and open to the pool and gardens. The grand lobby has Hawaiian artwork and very comfortable seating areas. It steps down to a natural stone tiled infinity pool terrace complete with lava rock enclosed hot tub. Nearby is a luxurious air conditioned fitness pavilion with sauna. The foot path meanders hundreds of feet along the elongated 4 acre property. There is an open pavilion for resident private parties, several trellis BBQ alcoves, native plants, landscape art, trellis and pond.
Wireless internet access is included in common areas. There is a luxurious entertainment room on the lobby level that opens up the gardens. A meeting room and recreation room are also available for residents. The parking structure for residents is separate from the residential tower. Each parking stall has storage lockers nearby. There is also convenient storage available for bicycles surfboards, and one-man canoes. Residents can enter and exit from either Hobron Ln. or Ala Wai Blvd. The entire property is gated and has 24 hour security. Security is complemented by a concierge desk near the Porte-cochere to assist residents and guests. Guest parking stalls are available on the ground level.
